Holly Jean's Story

The first time I ever went to Planned Parenthood was for an abortion. My mom came with me, and I felt comfortable and supported the whole time. Because of the positive experience I had for an abortion, I continued to seek reproductive care there for the next 4 years. It was low cost to me, I felt accepted and comfortable asking questions. I had my pap smears there, birth control prescriptions, STD screenings for myself and later my long-term partner. When I ended up getting pregnant a second time, I was treated with the same care and acceptance for my second abortion. I will never forget the women who showed me so much kindness during those times of my life.
